Traminer

Smells of wild roses and citruses with a bit of peppery.

The wine is golden yellow colour. It pleasantly smells of wild roses, citruses, but it is also spicy and peppery. It is dry and clean with harmonious acidity. The intensive spirit of Traminer is even more emphasized due to the prolonged maceration of grapes. The young wine was left lying on fine lees, which gives the wine pleasant sort harmony.

The east part or shady position of vineyard, long warm fall with cold nights was ideal environment for ripeness. The harvest was actualised from 2nd to 5th September. Ripeness 22,5 bx, concerning an ideal balance of sugars and acidity. Hand-harvested and checked grapes.

After the harvest the grape berries were cold macerated for 36 hours. Fermentation held place in inox tanks with mixture of cultivated and indigenous yeast. After the fermentation it aged for 3 months on fine lees. 10% aged in 225l barrique barrels for 6 months.

It pairs well with pasta, sea food, white meat, crabs, fresh cheese and especially with Asian food.
